It is even more interesting in color, the little touch of yellow and purple really stand out against the black.<br /><br />I&#39;ve never seen a true black flower. Normally they are just a super dark color that&#39;s almost black. The black rose that I&#39;ve seen for instance is more of a deep red.<br /><br />Great find on this one Icy, very unusual.

I like black pansies and tulips too. Mom used to plant tulips in every shade imaginable.

There are black flowers (for those who asked the question). And yes, pansies do come in black even though it&#39;s very rare. <br /><br />These particular ones are taken so they &#39;look&#39; black. I think that&#39;s the point of &#39;monochrome.&#39;
