Orange Poppy

Pretty Heart of Poppy
First of all, before you go on saying how I have such pretty flower in my yard, let me assure you; it is not! I live in Michigan, and we just had another snow blizzard yesterday; so there can't be any thing growing at this time.

Another Look at Another Heart

I just love this deep rich orange poppy flower that I saw at the store; where they are rushing every thing, and every occasion..but I don't think people are that silly enough to buy flowers in February to plant.

Putting Together
I am anxiously waiting for spring to see flowers and living things! It is just too dreary and gray for too long already. Wish you all a great week ahead..

  3. dreary and gray your world won't be for long I feel it..and for someone like you who has the love for nature in her heart and the eye who sees beauty in everything there will always be a ray of sunshine though it is gloomy....smiling at you saying the flowers are not yours...been to the mall the other day but could not get the courage to photograph the flowers on sale :)

  4. Lovely flower! And spring is not far off. A lot of bloggers have been complaining of being tired of the cold, so it must soon be time for it to end!

  6. I read most your posts twice a day; once on my cell while at work and again when I get a chance to sit before my computer. The flowers are truly lovely.

    Hugs!

  10. I love flower shops and store bought flower bouquets that brighten up days of a long winter! I am hoping poppies are one of the flowers that do grow in this new town we just moved to!

  15. I have some hellebores (winter light-green flowers) that have come out in my garden. We had a warm-ish week in February, so the daffodils came out then. They're not doing very well because they were completely covered in the snow we had recently.

It's still very cold, so no flowers like poppies to be seen any time soon! :-)

  16. What vivid colour you've captured in your photos. Such brightness would help cheer the grey away. Hoping for respite from all the storms.
