Until You Come Again

Good Bye Coneflower
My coneflowers were in  a browning stage, and reached their circle of life. These photos were taken earlier this week, and now they were pretty much black after many cold days. With the morning sun shining, the heads of these flowers were so striking.

Tidy Up Electrical Cords With Cableslaps

We had just switched our cable service to another company about a month now, but I am not sure if it is any better from the previous one. The speed and customer service are about the same.

My house was re-wired with a new cable connection; which brought my attention to the big mess of electronic cords under my desk and behind the television stand. I asked the technician on how to tidy up those cords, and he suggested checking out cableslaps.com that is currently selling on Amazon.

Collecting "Keeper" Recipes

Flat Iron Steak
I am on a kick to find great tasting, easy to make, and low budget recipes. So far I am loving Food and Wine magazines as I come across many Asian-style cooking recipes. I found that the food turned well even if I substitute certain ingredients.

I don't want to run out to the market for one or two ingredients before I have to make dinner, therefore, if I have lime; I will use lime when the recipe asked for lemon. I am a rebel when it comes to follow recipes. I will fix it to my taste! Just can't help it :-)

My favorites so far are: Flat Iron Steak Dinner, Saffron Rice and Shredded Chicken Salad! I also love the recipe for Vietnamese "banh mi" (sandwich), which I didn't post yet. Amazingly, all of the recipes I found are on a lower budget side, but big on the taste and flavors.

My questions are:

1) Do you follow the recipe to the tee when you cook?

2) Where is your favorite place to go to find your "keeper" recipes? Magazines, online cooking sites, or old fashion cook books, etc..

The Web of Life

In the Fog
My early morning ritual is a walk around my backyard, and since the weather is going into fall, some time there is fog. I notice this spider web when a bit of sun ray shining through, and it was amazing to see.

Taking The Challenge With Nopalea

It is that time of the year when the weather is much more unpredictable than ever in my part of the world. The chilly wind in the morning and evening seem to be here to stay. The rain comes off and on from nowhere really not helping me much with my arthritis pain.

Have you tried nopalea the wellness drink that helps arthritis, muscle pain, and joint pain? You've heard of it or read about it, I am sure! For days now, the pain in my shoulders prevents me from doing much, and I have to rely on over the counter pain relievers such as Tylenol and Aleve!

I Wish, I Wish

I don't know about you, but lately I've experiencing problems with Blogger, such as certain websites only load half way, photos are covered by a gray box especially the large ones, and comment form seems unable to connect to the internet.

Whether it is my computer, or the browsers or Blogger, I spent double the time I have to refresh and reload. Still, can't view many photos on many great websites.

Discover the Advantages of Mobile Devices When Travelling

Guest Post By Craig H.
I have learnt that if I want to enjoy real world class entertainment when I am travelling I can visit a mobile casino  in the privacy and comfort of my room or relax by the pool and enjoy really great gaming using my iPhone online casino app, or playing browser based games. I used to feel a bit out of place when travelling and looking for entertainment on my own, especially if I was on a business trip surrounded by people on holiday, but now I have found with mobile casino games I can enjoy endless amusement anywhere I like, even over dinner, without having to venture into one of the intimidating casinos to seek out a couple of hours of pleasure.

I’m sure I am not the only traveller who has switched from visiting the resorts or hotels casinos to playing mobile casino games whenever I desire. These iPhone casino games have changed the way I travel and I no longer dread the long journeys or stopovers between flights as I can even enjoy all the best iPhone online casino games in the airport. I’m sure that these mobile casino games are having a detrimental effect on the traditional casino industry as they actually offer players so many more advantages other than just being portable and convenient.

Long Stem Rose

Long Stem Rose In Blue Sky
This beautiful and amazing long stem rose was spotted at my brother's backyard! It reached high into the blue sky above my head, and despite the cold weather, it still bloomed strongly!

Turning Weather

Can you feel the chilly wind in the morning? Can you see my zinnia dying? Fall weather has arrived, still a tease, but it is here.

I do like fall, spring and summer. As for winter, it can skip over me and I won't mind. Yes, there are millions of gorgeous winter scenes of snow, ice, and glaciers photos, but my body can't function well in cold weather.

Raspberry Ketone As Supplement

I have mentioned before that I am taking so many different vitamins and supplements daily, that now I reach the point of dreading to look inside my medicine cabinet. Sometimes, I think they help, but other times, I just think it is a desperate measure on my part to sustain health, and to be able to function somewhat closer to what I was before.

For many people, losing weight is their constant battle. I was told by many close friends that they gain weight by just looking at food. For me, however, gaining weight and maintaining it are nearer to impossible. I can eat the whole day and gain the weight but lost it all by the next day.

Do not envy me for this! This is my battle just as you have with weight gain. Like you, I always have to find a way to keep a reasonable or ideal weight on my body. From the recent buzz, I heard of raspberry ketone supplement, an all natural product that helps both sides for losing weight and gaining weight.

Pretty Little Skipper

Pretty Skipper

This lovely skipper came to visit my garden since the middle of August, and brought with it many other friends. I watched them fighting, mating, and flitting around my marigold flowers. There were at least six of them at times.

Back to School Time

Edit Photo of Skipper On Pink Zinnia
This is the first week of school for us here in Metro Detroit, and it is also the first full day for JoJo.

For many kids and parents, it is a dreadful time, waking up early, eating breakfast, packing lunch, and get out of the house in time. It will take a while for the routine to kick in.

Pink, Pink, Pink Zinnia

My Zinnia 2012
This year I have two pots of pink zinnia flowers. Nothing but pink, and various types of zinnias! I have round petals, pointed petals, curly petals, and double-decker zinnia flowers. I don't have any other colors at all, but I love them.
