Fuzzy Mind Wants to Know

I don't have a post for Thursday Two Questions set up, and today is already Wednesday. I am so unfocused nowadays. Thus, I am forcing myself and just type out what it is in my mind. I know something will pop up if I could just sit still long enough, begin typing, and allow myself free thinking.

First Sight of Cabo San Lucas

First Sight of Cabo San Lucas
By the third day of our sailing smoothly on the ocean surface, we spotted sight of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This view was taken on the balcony of our cabin! By now, I think we were all ready to see land, and lively earth.

Dial A Flight Home

I caught my brother online on Facebook last weekend, and we chatted a little about life, this and that. During this short conversation, I found out that his wife and kids are currently in Vietnam, visiting her family, and have sent many photos of their activities over there.

The trip back home was a long way home for sure; he had to Book flights to Singapore with Dial A Flight for his family. This would be the first time that his children see their maternal grandparents.

They have other alternatives to get there, but time was the essence in their scheduling. They decided to take this route to Singapore instead of Hong Kong since it met their budget and criteria, especially for the children as they were out on summer break, and this was the only time they could make it without missing school days. So far, everybody is doing great, having a great time, exploring nearby cities, and experiencing the many different things.

I am so happy for them, and excited at the same time when thinking about a trip to Vietnam one day in the near future with my children. The only hard part for my family would be finding the time that we all could agree on.

New Hair Style

My son finally decided that he has enough with his long mopping hair style, and wanted a hair cut for the summer. I was happy beyond words to take him in.

While waiting for his turn, I noticed a few other boys with considerably long hair having their hair chopped also. I guess the heat begins to do them in. One little boy was at the counter with his mom making so much noise that I had to look, and for goodness' sake, this was what I see.

Ship Life

First Sunrise
For those that have been following me a while, you know I love shooting the sky, and what can be better when it met the ocean? My first goal was getting a photo of sunrise, and that was what I did. And yes, just one picture, too! This was taken on the balcony of our cabin.

Bath Or Shower?

I used to take baths when the children were younger, since that was my time to escape and relaxed.  Oh yes, and it was before we have computer and internet. Once we caught on with technology, a brand new wide world opens up, and I went back to school for web design online.

A Watch Is Still Needed

Rarely do I see people wearing a watch nowadays, and I admit that I'm one of those. Since having children (long ago), I stopped putting on a watch as it got in the way of caring for the child and sometimes, scratched him/her.

I found myself thinking in term of purchasing one of Michael Kors Watches  lately as I realized I need one. For example, last weekend while sitting on the bleacher watching my son played soccer, the person next to me asked for the time. I took the cellphone out of my pocket intended to tell him the time, only to find my phone was out of battery!

Summer Break Is Coming

With only two weeks left of school and my son will be on summer break.  My plan to travel failed through as other things came up and took priority. However, we still might take a shorter trip instead, which means I will be hearing "I am bored, mom" serenade more often!

Los Angeles Port Of Call

In the Parking Lot
We arrived to the Los Angeles Port of Call and waited for our group to get all the suitcases together. A dozen people in the group took a little time.
