Critters At SB State Beach

Catching the Wind
Nature is all around us at Santa Barbara State Beach, from the annoying and noisy seagull, to the water, clouds in the sky, to the pelicans on top of a roof building. I took in the fresh sea breeze, the warm sun light on my face, and snapped pictures happily.

The Google + Profile Dilemma

Ok, I have just made my rounds around the blogger sphere, and quite frustrated with the G+ profiles. It is such a pain to click on it, and if you are not in their circles, you can't find their post or blog to return comments.

Check Out Free Samples

Free Samples
FREE is a word that has a strong hold on people's perception! It means you will get something for nothing at all, and it could mean big savings. Everyone loves to save, and everyone wants something for free.

With the harsh reality of life where the costs of living is exceeded the income, we have no choice but looking for bargains. We get into the habit of clipping coupons, buying in bulk, and purchasing sale items. This is our way of managing our finance in difficult times!

You have come to the right place today, as I will point you to where you can obtain free travel guides and free samples by mail. Look for what you want from a long list, and read the requirements. Then you will be on your way to receive free items.

From what I can see at All-Free-Samples.com, the requirements are very similar to those of contest entries that you come across on blogs/websites such as subscribe to email, likes on Facebook, and follow on Twitter.

Of course, if you want these products, you will also have to provide your address for delivery, and your phone numbers for verification. There are quite a few numbers of brand names and popular items that will strike your fancy!

Santa Barbara State Beach

View of the Harbor
The only day we had in Santa Barbara, my sister took all of us to State Beach, where we walked down the boardwalk to the very end and look at the scenery around this area. It was a very beautiful day and very windy.

PicMonkey Photo Editor Online

I went into my Picasa Web Album to clean up last week, and found out that PicNik will be closing down on April 19th. I like that software very much for when I need to do some adjusting to my photos on my blog.

Need Help? Get An Attorney!

We all hope that our lives sail smoothly every day, or just long enough for us to enjoy without worries for a while; but that is only our dreams and hopes! Life comes with ups and downs unexpectedly when we least anticipated.

We put ourselves at greater risks when we get into a car, thus the need for us to carry auto insurance policy. However, this is just a small part in preparing for life events. There are times when we would have to enlist the help of an auto accident attorney, someone who is specialized in this field to get us through the damaging incident.

I know this first hand when my father was killed by a drunk driver some years ago, while my mother was hospitalized for broken ribs, hip, and other parts of her body! Knowing where to call for injury attorneys would have made a big different in getting the compensation that my parents entitled.

We had no idea then, and just let the car insurance company handled this part of the ugly business. Now, things are different and better, where I can look up for an attorney or advise a friend to retain one.

If you click on the links in this post, you will find a variety of services, and different injury attorneys in different areas to help you get the benefits you deserve.

Pink Begonia Flowers

Pink Begonia

Around the backyard of my sister's property, I saw these beautiful pink begonia flowers. I couldn't resist taking some pictures. Could you? They were gorgeous, and they were still in bloom in November! That was magical enough for me as I came from Michigan, and November we had nothing but brown color!

Investing With the Help Of a Financial Adviser

With an unstable economy and financial troublesome, have you thought about making investments for the future? I have! Nothing huge or out of the ordinary, but I think having a financial adviser is a wise choice, as he/she can help me lay down the foundation for what must be done to secure a decent life in the years to come.

I am clueless when it comes to the financial part of life. Sure, I manage to have a saving account for emergency occasions, but beyond that I shut down as the subject sparks no interest in me. I just know my job is to pay the bills, and save a little for rainy days, but investing is a foreign word that skips a beat over my head!

Travel In Care of Budget Insurance

Summer vacation is upon us once again, and this is the time when many families are looking to travel when the children are out of school. I am too, looking for a break from the morning chaos, and lazy days.

Working from home gives me this benefit of being there for my children, and schedule my time to tailor to their needs. Thanks to today technology, I can take my work with me if I go, and do as much as I want or as little as I wish.

I have plan to travel in the US in this summer, but for world travelers, you should seriously consider about budget travel insurance. As in life, unexpected things happen beyond our control, and preparing for the worst is always better than being sorry.

With travel insurance, you are covered for medical expenses overseas, cancellations costs, travel delay, trip disruption, luggage and personal effects, personal liability, hijacking, out of pocket expenses, plus many other issues.

Your coverage could be as low as $1.60 a day, and you can enroll the entire family or just for yourself; knowing that you will also get 24/7 emergency assistance should something unpleasant occurs.

Traveling can be tiresome, and the last thing you need is worry. Leave these unforeseen events in the care of travel insurance, and just enjoy your trip!

There are changes all the way around, from FaceBook to Blogger. I am struggled trying to go along with these changes. The Time Line thingy on FaceBook looks cluttering, and Blogger new interface format is like a puzzle waiting to be solved.

Pfister and Rebuilding Together Partnership Helping Communities

This post brought to you by Pfister. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever heard of a program called Rebuilding Together? This is a fantastic national nonprofit program that was founded almost 30 years ago, and has been in service to provide home repairs, modifications, and improvements to help low-income family.

Beautiful Lawn Is A "Snap"

This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

This is the time of year when people around my neighborhood are spending time outside taking care of their lawn and garden. My son and I are among these people getting our front yard looking clean and neat. We pick up sticks, branches, trash, and rake the left-over leaves from the fall.

My lawn care provider only cut the grass, edging, and trimming around our perimeter. After he mowed the lawn, he suggested that I should feed the grass with Scotts® Snap® Spreader System. He said this new product is easy to use, including me, since all I have to do is connecting the Snap Pac directly to the Snap Spreader.

Purple Flowers Bush

HAPPY EASTER, 2012!

Purple Flower Branch
These beautiful branches of purple flowers grew along a low white wall on my sister's backyard. They had a velvety feel to the touch, and fuzzy looking. Well, knowing that I am a sucker for purple color, I found myself admiring these flowers whenever I could get outside.

Blogger Went Berserk

What in the world is wrong with Blogger? I want to know, and I want it to stop!

This past week, every couple of days, while making rounds to visit other bloggers, I suddenly got locked out of my account, and had to provide my phone numbers to get a verification code to get back into my account!

Fuji Apples From Back Yard

A Basket of Fuji Apples
These delicious good looking Fuji apples were brought to us from Mandy's fruit tree. They were all perfect and free from harmful spray. One thing I love about California is the weather, as it permits us to grow fruits and vegetables pretty much all year round.
