Twirly Swirly White Mums
Twirly Petals
These flowers are in the mums' family, are they not? They think they are! So what is special about them? Their twirly swirly petals that looked like walking spider legs were fun to see and pretty at the same time.
Swirly White Mums
Obviously these flowers were found at the grocery store once again. I love stalking their flower department in the winter time as they always seem to carry very unique and wonderful flower bouquet.
Mosaic of Twirly Swirly White Mums
I just love these curly swirly white mums. Unique flowers like these only surfaced once in a while, and that is the number one reason I always took a walk around the flower department before getting on with my shopping chores.

ReplyDeleteAs though they are my mushrooms.
I used to work in a nursery that first began growing these curly mums. I do believe they were an accidental thing. What we called a 'sport'.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous, I expect you know from reading News From Italy that we do not bring Chrysanthemums indoors in Italy. :)

You can find information about the project and how to participate at the top of my blog. If you’ve already sent something thank you and please forgive my poor memory. The quilt is growing quite expansive and with only first names, I can’t always remember who already shared.
