Scenic View At SB State Beach
View of the Privilege
Seeing these big, beautiful sail boats at Santa Barbara State Beach harbor, my first thought directed me to the rich and privilege! California is known for its high costs of living, expensive properties, and Santa Barbara is included.
Having a sail boat parked in this harbor must have cost an arm and a leg, and the big houses in the background screamed wealth!
Another View At the Opposite
I love the mountain view in California! Somehow, it gave me a sense of the majestic universe, and how closely we live nearby. There were some harmonic feelings to man and nature in this scenery.
Post Card Worthy
I was lost to do my own things and lost in thoughts with amazing nature all around me even though it was not elusive, but very open to the public, to all kind of people, and to all kind of levels in society.
We all connect somehow and share a common joy of nature with such peaceful understanding.

ReplyDeletewonderful pics! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous views of Santa Barbara! I enjoy seeing the boats sailing on the ocean. :)
ReplyDeleteI do love your views of the beach!! My youngest daughter lives in CA -- Santa Rosa and I taught school in a small town near LA many years ago. I always enjoyed my time there because I loved living near the water. But Seattle suits me a little better because it isn't as crowded and there is more of a feeling of remoteness in many areas near the water and I do love that! Strange for someone born and raised in the middle of west Texas??? But then anyone who has been there would understand immediately why I love coastal areas! My, my I do run on and on! Hope you have a great week!

I love your "run-on" :-) as I do share the same sentiment as yours and like to be by the water, even though I can't swim!
DeleteBeautiful views of Santa Barbara Icy, it is a beautiful place. Whenever we get down to SoCal my favorite places are the harbors and beaches. I do like to visit there but like Sylvia I don't want to live down there, there are way too many people. I like my beaches a little less crowded. We will make our home in the smaller community but visit as often as possible.
ReplyDeleteThis area is known as the "Rivera of America." It's a beautiful place with much history, but much of that is hidden beneath, or behind all the wealth...
ReplyDeleteAlways have enjoyed my visits to Santa Barbara.
ReplyDeleteI was there this past weekend, and we even went beyond: Solvang and Los Gatos.
Your sea views are always amazing.
I think these photos came out really great.
