Sail Boats Race

There was a sail boats race the day we were there! Even though the sun was shining and the water surface was shimmering, it was cold and windy. We wore winter jackets on shore, and these sail boats racers wore their protected wet suits.

Military Ship

We didn't really know what was going on with this race, but we saw adults and children alike trying to maneuver the sails. However, my interest was not with them, and I rather focused on that big ship out there. It looked like one of those military ship!

Sand Art

We then decided to go to the beach area for the children to play a while. Along the way, we saw many of this kind of sand art, where the "starving" artists creatively sculpted to collect coins from visitors. There were many other amazing and unique "money collecting pots" like this one.

Closer to the Beach

Once we reached this sandy beach, the children started to build their castles, and got wet straight away. Did I mentioned I was jet-lag, sleep deprivation, and exhausted to move around too much? I just sat and munched snacks!

The Ocean View at State Beach

Giving different circumstances, I think I would be more alert and took more photos! I love being by the ocean, feel the wind on my face, smell the fresh salty air, watch the critters, and absorb all the busy activities of it all.
