Pink Begonia Flowers
Pink Begonia
Around the backyard of my sister's property, I saw these beautiful pink begonia flowers. I couldn't resist taking some pictures. Could you? They were gorgeous, and they were still in bloom in November! That was magical enough for me as I came from Michigan, and November we had nothing but brown color!
California was like a different world for me, and indeed it is much so! All we need was a light jacket when go outside, while the weather in Michigan requires a heavy coat, hat and mitten. Hence, seeing bottle brush flowers, purple flowers, and other flowers growing in the yard completely spell-bounded me!
If you have never live in the cold climate, you have no idea how I crave for sunlight, seeing colors, and admiring flowers or any living things like I do. We have more months of cold than warm here in Michigan, at least it feels like that to me..

Icy I just adore the colors on these. Fantastic details you have captured. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful, i do understand the craving for sunlight and warmer weather. my hubby's niece when we were in Mt. Rainier in WA, which was all cold, gray, and snowing in july 4, upon hearing a loud raven, she said:" that raven is complaining about her life, who would not? this is no fun to see all gray, we could not even see what is 15 ft away from us because of thick fogs and blizzard. i am as sick as the raven!" - and to think she is from IL which is another colder climate in the winter.
ReplyDeleteanyway, beautiful pictures, Icy.
Very pretty in pink, lovely flower.
ReplyDeleteBut this year has surprised us! Children played outside today with no shirts on. Who remembers April being muggy? Icy, these certainly are pretty!
