Our Trip to Cabo San Lucas
The Wing Of Airplane
In November of 2011, my sisters and I went on a vacation to Cabo San Lucas together with our families, which included spouses and children.
The trip began with a nightmare for Michigan people as our Spirit airline cancelled after we have waited for 4 hours at the airport. They sent us back home, and luckily we decided to leave two days earlier, prior to our cruise trip. Otherwise, we would have missed the cruise too!
Two days later, we came back to the airport at 8:30 in the morning to board yet another Spirit airplane, flew to Chicago airport, and there we sat for eight hours waiting for a connection flight out to Los Angeles. By the time we arrived at my sister's house in Santa Barbara, it was 1:00 o'clock in the morning the next day.
Needless to say, we were beaten, but safely got to our first destination. Thus, my chronicles of our Cabo San Lucas Vacation began here.

Haha..
ReplyDeleteTo be continued.
Wow! That sounds awful. Mari usually takes Spirit as it more economical. Now I am worried about her as she heads back home for a visit before the baby is born.
ReplyDeleteOh, Icy waiting in airports is never fun but you had a great trip and that's what is important. Love that wing shot, how cool. As always, your mosaics are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFlying is no longer an easy thing to do. I hope your vacation is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour story is the continuing saga of flying in this country. We are flying to Seattle and Portland this summer and I dread it. Like you photos in the plane as well as the one taken of the wing. I have one I took of Mt. Ranier going into Seattle which is so neat. genie
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Glad you were able to finally get to your destination :) Has to be so frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThat does not sound like a lot of fun, but at least you were all in the same boat so to speak. I'm hoping that the cruise made it worth your while. Great shots down the tip of that wing.
ReplyDeleteMost interesting shot from airplane window! I love it!

Wow, plane cancellation are awful. I am glad you finally made it though. I know you had a wonderful trip. Can not wait to see more. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it there! Hope the rest of the trip went more smoothly than the beginning.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love the dependability of air travel these days. You always have to have a back up plan. Can't wait to see what's next!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos ~ I find traveling is no longer fun ~ too many problems with airlines ~ thinking of a train trip ~ LOL ~ Great job ^_^
ReplyDeleteUgh - airlines. Hope the est of your trip was less eventful. My husband and I went to Los Cabos for our first anniversary. It was such a fun trip. Maybe I will write about it on Wednesday Wanderings one day.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is awful about the cancellation and delays, but I'm glad you were able to make it to the cruise trip. Looking forward to more pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! Why does travel have to be so difficult these days? Thanks for sharing at MM> :)
ReplyDeleteI hate waiting at airports. But I'm glad you got to your cruise destination on time. Can't wait to see the photos!
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots...love the first photo most....
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awful start. However, the main thing is that you and your family had a wonderful break away.
ReplyDeleteI actually love airports...good thing since I've been to 45 countries and 25 Caribbean islands ... and have been on 88 cruises in my life...I've never flown to a cruise on the day of departure, not even when it's been out of LA and I live in San Francisco...it's far too risky.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a scary way to start a trip.
Sounds rough. At least you made it.
ReplyDeleteYes. Flight nightmares are the worst! It's too much to deal with already with the stress of them being on time.
