Recently, I met a lady from church, who runs a second hand clothing shop, asking for my business card when she found out that I write reviews on my blogs. She was surprised to know that I have none, and suggested that I should look into this. She wanted to take some of my cards to pass to her clients, and put some by the cash register of her shop to help promoting my "business".
It is odd that I never thought of my blogging/writing as a business before, but I took her advice and start looking for a place to print business cards. NextDayFlyers.com has a great selection of different designs, from photography, food, artist, entertainment, to dancing and more for you to choose, or you can easily upload your own logo to represent your business.
Moreover, pricing at nextdayflyers.com is also affordable, and it is listed with Better Business Bureau with no complaint for the last three years. You can learn more about this site, and how easy it is to design your business cards by clicking on the link.

you are so correct Icy, I met a hobbyist in the zoo, and he gave me his business card, it has his blog site. he asked if i have a a business card too so he can refer his family and friends and we can exchange notes on travel tips around San Diego, and I did not have a card to give :(
ReplyDeleteI got free ones through VistaPrint but found some hidden fees which really ticked me off then I designed my own. You really should think about getting some.
ReplyDeletenot a bad idea to have a "blogger" business card huh!?
ReplyDeletehave a great week ahead, Icy!
great info, thank you for sharing, business cards are indeed so helpful...
ReplyDeleteHi Icy I had this idea way back when I started blogging but thought it was maybe a bit OTT for a wee blog like mine though after reading your post I just might rethink the whole thing again.
