Alycia Kaback Model Management

The word "model" carries a variety of different meanings, but we often associate it with just runway fashion model, who is tall, slim, and gorgeous. In reality, this industry includes many aspects of advertising such as commercial models, print models, to other type of models also.

Alycia Kaback model management is based in New York and Philadelphia, which specialize in commercial/print work of this modeling business; while former Vogue Art Director Ryan Colby handles the runway division with his Colby Models, a sister company to Kaback Model Management.

The 6 feet tall, slim, and gorgeous requirement is a thing of the past. There are many opportunities in this modeling business, where agencies are constantly looking for different look, or fresh faces, which is called the IT Factor.

If your dream is to become a model, working with highly connected office, and reputable agent, you should check out Kaback Model Management at http://www.alyciakaback.com for success stories, plus recent clients. They have been seen on Gossip Girls, Law and Order, as well as in Milan and Tokyo.

I wish I have known this information when my oldest son attempted a career in modeling some years back, but we could not find a reliable agency for him to flourish. Yet, it is never too late to try again, or to begin another fresh start.

Marketplace For Heavy Equipments

I don't know about you but driving by construction site is an exciting sight for my kids when they were younger. They talked about all the machines they saw, and wondered what each one would do. The boys of course, had more curiosity on this type of thing than my girl.

To this day, I could only name a few: tractor, crane, dump truck, and forklift since these were the toys my children had in their sandbox. Digging, building, and excavating are fascinating subjects to allow the mind wandered.

Once in a while, we would see a strange machine sitting in the middle of the field, and boggle with how is that big thing gets there or what it is used for. Certainly, the people who are in this business side know exactly what they would do or where they would acquire excavators for sale or rent to carry out their project.

My little boy still loves looking at big heavy machinery, and one of his wishes is to go on an excursion of digging for dinosaurs' bones. Maybe he will become an archeologist, or maybe it is childhood fantasy.

Do you find heavy equipments are fascinating to see too or is it just my strange family?

My Purple Festive Frame Eyeglasses

My Holiday spirit this year is somewhat running low on the speedometer, and I am shying away from all the shops. I used to be able to fill up my spirit tank by just going out, looking at all the lights, and decorating at the mall. Sometimes, watching the crowded people is enough to get me back to the mood of celebrating.

I enjoy shopping online exclusively nowadays, and finding great deal on cheap eyeglasses is the perfect ticket to snap me out of my seasonal blues. The festive Holiday frames are whimsical and fun to see. Above all the price is just fantastic. Well here is my confession, I am on bifocal for a few years now, but I can get a pair for as low as $27.95. My statement for this year festive look, and shocking show-off is the frame you see here. I love purple, and I want to be "funky" for a change.

The best thing about ordering from Zenni Optical is these benefits below:
  • Free anti-scratch coating
  • Free thin and light 1.57 index for single vision lens
  • Free full UV protection
  • Free protective case
  • Free microfiber cleaning cloth
Now, if you are wearing eyeglasses, you know that at the optical office, they will charge you extra for the anti-scratching coating alone. I have better use for my money since I still haven't done with my Christmas shopping yet.

Do you like my purple frame? What would you pick for yourself out of these Holiday Themed Frames glasses? Let me know in the comment section below!

Thank you and have a great day!

Holiday Themed Frames Eyeglasses

This post brought to you by Zenni Optical. All opinions are 100% mine.

Good news, eyeglasses wearers! Zenni Optical is now offering festive Holiday frames for you to celebrate this season. What are you in mood to wear for this Holiday? Just click on the link and select Holiday Themed Frames, and you will see a variety of choices. My favorite is the one below in the photo. It is such a pretty, and perfect frame to show my spirit.

holiday themed frameAs many of you know, you can get a complete pair of single vision eyeglasses for as low as $6.95, which in some cases, is less than the cost of a gourmet hamburger. However, cheap eyeglasses do not mean that they are out of style, or empty your savings.

With three children wearing glasses, for reading only, I can tell you the money I saved ordering from Zenni Optical allowed me to buy stocking stuffing for Christmas. The savings come in handy for little things like earphones, books, shaving kit, lipsticks, and cell phone car chargers.

Which frame is your favorite one, or one that you would like to have? With so many different styles, colors, and shapes, I am sure it is hard to pick just one. Let me know which ones you are ending up with in the comment section, won't you?

Holiday Chores-Thursday Two Questions #65

This year I have no enthusiastic in putting up the Christmas tree, or decorating the house for Holidays! It has become such a tidiest chore, and I am not looking forward to it. Just the thought of getting all of these Holidays things out from the attic is enough to stop me on my track. Then, there are the putting them up, and taking them down, plus another trip or two back to the attic.

As far as I know, my children will be spending time with their dad, and that means I will be here by myself (hopefully, wishfully), and I really do not want to bother with Christmas decorations. I think I've grown too lazy already!

Oh by the way, I am not the only one on my block that has no decorations on! Many houses have none either. Believe me, I looked :-)

1) What about you? Are you excited with Holiday decorations?

2) Would you go through a year without the Christmas tree and lights?

Your Title For Cash Loan

Have you ever heard of title loans? Basically, a title loan is when you give the company your car title, and in turn they will loan you the cash. For example, a certain situation arises and you can't get the loan you needed to solve the problem through your financial institute. This is where cash title loans come in handy for emergency cases by using your car title as collateral.

I have not heard this type of loan before, and I have to admit that this is a quick solution for those that have less than perfect credit scores. Facing a difficult time is heart wrenching, but having an alternative to get cash could relieve a stressful situation.

The process to apply takes roughly about 15 minutes, and you can also borrow as little as $100 dollars. Here, you don't have to worry about your credit scores! The decision is based on whether or not you have sufficient income to pay your loan back.

Our economy has been very tough for many people, and not too many banks willing to go the extra miles to aid those in needs. If you want temporary solution, this could be the one for you to try. Just remember this resource when you have nowhere else to turn for assistance!

Best Gift For the Holiday

This post brought to you by Sprint. All opinions are 100% mine.

This is the season for giving and receiving. Are you done with your shopping? If not, I will point you to Sprint 3-day sale. Who would not like to have the new Android™ powered EVO 4G devices? My sister has one and she is not shy in saying how nice it is to get things done on the run, or while waiting at the doctor's office.

HTC EVO 4GFor a limited time, the activation fees on your new lines are waived, and shipping is also free for online order. Spint has many different plans to fit your budget, and with smart phones, Sprint gives you unlimited data. This includes text, and calls to or from any US mobile phone while on Sprint network. The everything data plan starts at $79.99, a very competitive price to many other providers with the exception of really "unlimited".

To my understanding, my provider also offers "unlimited" on our 4G phones, but only to a certain point, and then it drops back down to 2G or 3G network. Nevertheless, they are considered it as an "unlimited" plan.

You can get the HTC EVO 4G for free during this 3-day sale, free activation, and free shipping with two years contract! It is one of the best deals for this Holiday, and a whooping savings of more than $500 dollars.

Holiday Indulgence-Thursday Two Questions #64

This is the time of year when we indulge ourselves in many sinfully delights of food and drink. Family gatherings and office parties gear toward a rainbow of sweets or different types of little teasers to tempt us into devouring.

I am lucky in a sense that I can't eat that much, even if I want too, and that I can't seem to gain weight. As for drinks, I am allergic to all types of alcohol, which is a bummer to me because I've always wanted to taste champagne and wine at Holiday gatherings. To me, it is festive and fun!

Many of my "neighborly" girlfriends declare that they would have to watch their weight this season. Well, they said that before, but failed and that "I'm watching my weight" went on the New Year's resolution list.

Thus, my questions for this week are:

1) Do you watch your weight during the Holidays?

2) What are your favorite foods: turkey, ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.?

Do You Have the Time?

While on the cruise ship, I often heard myself and others around me asking "Do You Have the Time?" The reason was no one wore a watch, and all electronic gadgets had turned off as we moved toward international water.

I rely heavily on my cell phone to tell time and depend on the clock in my car if I was driving. It didn't occur to me that having a watch was one of those essentials that I overlooked. I had no conception of time or date while sailing which was irritating to me.

By the second day, I went to the gift shop on the ship to look at their ladies watches collection to purchase one. I needed to keep myself in check and made use of my time since I was up earlier than anyone in my cabin.

Sadly, I didn't find any watches that I like enough to spend the money. Since my wrists are small, I preferred little face, simple but elegant design, and stainless steel.

I made it through five days on the ship without knowing the time, but it was not a pleasant thought. With the Holidays around the corner, I will have to treat myself to a gift of time by ordering one at bluedial.com, and take advantage of their free two-day shipping.

Pretty Pink Flowers

Pink Feverfew or Brenda Flower

You have to excuse me if this flower is not known as feverfew, but after searching for information on it, I read that white feverfew flowers are usually white in color, and Brenda feverfew flowers type have bright pink color.

Beautiful Faces

In any case, both white and pink flowers are in the chrysanthemum family. If you are curious of what the white feverfew flowers look like, visit this post on Beyond Zephyr to see the similarity of these two, especially the leaves.

Mosaic of Pink Flowers
These beauties are perennial flowers, and seeded themselves anywhere. They are often found taking refuge until big shady trees, or grown in between cracks in the concrete, and by the sides of building.
