Thursday Two Questions #44-Resting Sites
I am supposed to get a post ready for Thursday Two Questions, but my mind is blank! Or is it too full that I can't see through my own thought? Summer should be a time to have less stress and chores. However, it is not so!
It is amazing how each day keeps flying by so fast, and then by the end of the day I have to question myself what did I do. Funny how I don't even remember a major part of my day! I am however, regretfully reached the decision to let go of Dances Of Dreams, Blessing Reflections, and Reach Beyond Limits websites!
It was a difficult decision because they are my soul babies! They have helped me making the necessary income to make ends meet these last few years. (Not much, but I can tell you they come in very handy!) The main reason for this decision was this: I have four websites with four different identities! Therefore, when returning comments, I have to sign in four different accounts, and comment on the same blog as four different persons. Crazy huh, and you can tell I didn't think it thoroughly.
I have replaced the lost of these websites with two new ones: Beyond Wandering, and Beyond Zephyr as one person with Wandering Thought. I believe, truly I am, that this will cut down the already limited time that I have.
All right, your mind must have read "blah blah, blah blah..." by now, therefore I will go straight to my two questions for this week:
1) When you landed on a website, do you scrolling down all the way to the bottom just to see what else the blog has to offer?
2) Do you comment on older posts?

Although I am not great at commenting I would comment on an older post if I had something I wanted to say regarding the post

Icy, I have wondered how you have managed to keep up with all four of your blogs. It keeps me busy just having two.
ReplyDeleteI have seen you sign in under your different blogs and comment several times on mine, I do want you to know that the multiply comments are not necessary. Hearing from you always brings a smile to me.
Depending on how much time I have I do usually scroll down on new blogs to see what else is there.
Sometimes I will comment on an older post that catches my attention.
You know sometimes I can't see the comment box and end up commenting on an older post first, but if time allows I like to visit and post comments on more than one post at a time. Why not? It is interesting and I'm already there. :-)

I do check the blog that looks interesting out to the bottom, yes.
ReplyDeleteI comment on posts in order, I don't really go searching too much unless there is something that caught my eyes. Yet, I have done this to several people that I wanted to get to know better.
Very rare for me to scroll down unless I have a purpose in mind.

i sometimes scroll down when i see an interesting post or photo. but i seldom comment on older posts.

2. If I think that i missed something that i should comment on I leave my thoughts written down
If there is something that catches my attention about the post and I have never been to the blog before I will scroll down to see older posts...I usually don't comment on them though. I always return comments to people who have commented on my posts. Hopes this helps.

ReplyDeleteyup i do scroll down..up and down...left and right and do dig archives too in blogs that i visit and linger once i enjoy the page
and yes i do leave comments on old blogs too...mwah!..i have not been blogging lately...no time to and i have somehow lost the itch to write and take shots...but having visited your wandering thoughts i think i want to start another blog hahaha, one that will contain just about anything i think of..thanks for the inspiration...mwah!
I often scroll down and read an author's other posts and people's comments and I will comment on past blogs.

That will make it easier for you. I always wonder how anyone does it with more than two blogs.
