Mini Reunion At the Theater Tomorrow

I have no idea that the new movie Monte Carlo, would be such a popular one for this summer! After seeing Lori’s posting on her Facebook status that we are going to see it with our daughters, my friend Shannon added that she wants to come too.

Our small group of four is growing into a group of ten women and young ladies, and Lori’s thread has also grown to more than 20 comments. By the time this movie comes to the theaters Friday, I am guessing that we would have more mothers and daughters joining us.

I love it! This is like a mini reunion for all the girls since their graduation three years ago. The girls used to be on the same basketball, soccer, and volleyball team together but after high school everyone parted to different colleges. For us parents, we also used to be very close together attending the many functions and tournaments.

Once the kids left for college, we went on with our separate life. For now, my cell phone is receiving “are we still on for the movie Monte Carlo” everyday. I have not met a person that doesn’t like Selma Gomez. Not only she is beautiful, and talented, but she is a great role model for younger girls so far.
