Fanciful Pink Dahlia
This beautiful and fanciful pink dahlia was found at Belle Isle Conservatory. It was one of those seasonal flowers that were on display in pots for easy exchange. I am pretty sure that other flowers have taken their places by now.
I took these pictures way back in early June, when my sister was here visiting Detroit. We spent half a day on the island for various activities.

ReplyDeleteI think dahlias are the most spectacular flowers. Butchart Gardens, near Victoria, British Columbia, has the most incredible displays of them every year.
