Thursday Two Questions #34-Winning Is Great
Imagine my surprise when I checked into my email and received a notification about winning a contest. Nope, it was none of those scams! It was real as real can be. I don't often enter any contest, and if I did, I don't ever win anything.
My contact is no other than Joanne, known as Poetic Shutterbug in cyber world, and I known her as Jo. We have been friends since Today.com blogging time. She is a wonderful poet, and a multi-talented lady.
I get to pick one of her beautiful plates' collection her store. Have you seen them? She has so many different patterns and sweet designs that would melt your heart.
So here are my questions for this week:
1) Have you ever won any contest in the blogging world and what was the item that you won?
2) How often do you enter in blogs' contests?

ReplyDelete1. I've only won one blogging contest and it was for my kitty pal Daisy at Daisy the Curly Cat. I won a magnet and got to choose one of Daisy and Harley :)
2. I really don't enter many contests unless they are online travel contests.
Well good for you. How nice to win something, especially when it comes from a friend. I'm not aware of and have therefore never entered--or won--a contest in the blog world.

2) I don't enter on purpose, sometimes it just so happens that the post is the current one to leave a comment on. It is very nice to win! :)

ReplyDeleteI have won quite a few books, a software program, body cream and a small stuffed animal over the past year.
I used to do it a lot but now once a week or so.
Yes, I won in some photography challenges and got award badges. I also won an earrings and a book. I join contests for fun or if I get invited and I have time to do it. Most of the time I offered my regrets.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I have won once. I believe it was last year, but have yet to receive the prize. It was fun to win though.
ReplyDeleteNope. Zilch. Nada. Zero. Nothing. I haven't won anything. I don't normally win stuff, even at the kids' schools where we support them by buying raffle tickets every year. Nothing.

ReplyDeleteI have won a few things in the blogging world - my very first win was an electronic shopper (one of those shopping list thingy's you speak your list into then print it out - it's been a huge help with me doing bi-monthly grocery shopping, some of which is repetitive). :)
I don't enter many contests - not that I don't want to, but I don't have as much time as I'd like to peruse the giveaways and enter. :)
Those plates must be really nice. I don't know her though. Nope, I haven't entered a blog contest so I haven't won anything :)
