Thursday Two Questions #20-Finding Balance
Another week seemed to just fly by, and I found myself behind again. Or maybe not, I am always playing catch up some how. At times, I manage to stay ahead of the game, but other times I'm just trailing on.
I have to give lots of credits to working moms/women who have the outside and inside jobs, but manage to stay in balance or keeping things running smoothly. It seems that our daily life have gotten twice the loads of chores, duties, and responsibilities.
1) How do you keep balance between work and home?
2) Do you think blogging has something to do with how busy we've become?

This is an interesting post. Sometimes it feels as if there aren't enough hours in the day to finish everything that I need to get done. I am envious of people who can balance their time.

1. I actually work at home so I have it easy. If I had to balance work and home life I believe it would be very difficult for me to do.
2. Blogging does take alot of time and yes it does add to having not enough time in the day.
1) I work only part-time, so that helps to keep a good balance.
2) Yes, but it's a good kind of busy!
1) I think when I was working, I couldn't really keep up with the house. And now that I am not working, I can't keep up with the family. So I haven't found that balance yet.
2) Blogging has made me so busy, but I am so sorry to say I love it so much. And I don't mean the part of gaining traffic, but more about the designing. It is so satisfying.
i try to keep work confined in the office during office hours. i stopped reading emails about work at home. i don't take work-related phone calls after working hours (unless it's an emergency).
blogging is a creative outlet for me, a break from the usual things i do when in front of the computer.
1) I do most of my work at home and contrary to what people thought (that it is more handy etc.) it can be difficult because the domestic chores compete with work all the time. I try to balance by working on pedofiles (haha! it stands for pending files!) first and whatever emergency that might crop up.
2) I think blogging is one of the ways we can get connected to people. Friends and family know whats going on thru all our postings!
I'm not working outside the home right now but I still don't seem to have enough hours in the day. When I was working one thing I did was to freeze meals ahead of time. For instance make a big pot of soup and freeze part for later.
Blogging has made my life much busier and it is very hard to keep up. I do enjoy it however and find it very relaxing most of the time.
Can you help me? I tried emailing you but I don't think it was sent. My feedburner subscribers are not getting notification until the next day of a post. I am a new blogger and don't know where to go for help. Thanks.

I am a SAHM so I don't have to balance work and home but being a SAHM is a full time job without break or vacations.
2. Yes I do think blogging has added to our busyness but also has given many of us an outlet in our lives.
aloha!
I work part-time. I find it very difficult to balance this. I'm blessed that I don't HAVE to work full-time because we have no relatives nearby who we could ask to take care of the kids. If I get work and S is in the office (he works from home for a percentage of the term time) I have to say no to it.
Blogging has definitely taken up more of my time. There's no doubt about that.
I would say blogging has made our lives busier. But also enriched life, too. For me, I just have to be disciplined to the hours I've chosen for blogging.
I feel constantly that I am not doing anything as well as I should. The juggling act is constant. It overflows into sleep time and house cleaning time... There are not enough back burners to move all the tasks to. lol
