Thursday Two Questions #19-Looking For a New Camera

There are many bloggers who are also wonderful photographers! Thanks to the digital cameras, and the internet; we are all able to see talented people around the world with just a click of our fingertips.

I love macro photos since I can see so much more details in every subject. Point and shoot cameras nowadays can do an amazing job at capturing the moment, or creating marvelous things with the images.  I've also seen many bloggers/photographers selling their photographs as well.

I've listed my photos at Etsy, Artfire, and RedBubble, but I just exhausted my finance at Etsy. I also found myself spreading too thin with socializing in order to get noticed. At the last straw, I pull them all off to save my sanity.

So here is my two questions:

1) Have you successful sell any of your photos online?

2) What is your favorite point and shoot camera for under $200 dollars?

  1. 1) I haven't tried selling any photos online, but starting to see many monetizing sites for photography. I will have to send them to you.
    2) I like my Sony Cybershot. I think it is a little over $300 though, but I am so use to its function. There is a story to tell here, ha, I am still learning a few others, but for the most part it will be like my car, it's been over 7 years, and I don't know all the buttons yet.

  2. Sorry, I'm not a photographer though I wish I were. The only medium I'm familiar with online for photography is Flickr/Creative Commons, and there most of the artists share their work for free as long as the users give them credit and don't use it for commercial work.

  3. Nope, never have sold any photos. I'm only into it for fun. But, my husband would love to do this one day.

I have a small digital camera by Cannon, but it cost more than $200.

  4. I have sold a few photos, and am thinking of opening an Etsy shop.

Sorry but I don't know much about P&S cameras!

  5. 1) No, I never sell online although I had several people asking permission to borrow and print it which is rare. I also had requests for people to use my photographs for their banners and headers which I do for free!

    2) I think I want a Canon iXus.

  7. Your photos are beautiful Icy but the problem is there are way too many photographers trying to sell online. To make money at it is almost impossible.

    1) I haven't tried to sell any of my photos online or any where else because of the reasons above.

    2) The camera I have is a fancier point and shoot, it is a Fujifilm
S2000HD. It costs more than $200 but the FujifilmS1000 and some of Fuji's other cameras are less.

  8. I've not sold any photos online and I'd say a sony camera would be a good one for under $200.

    Happy Weekend!
