Good Old Days
I wasn't around when a big tall glass of Pepsi only cost .5 cents! Anyone remembers this price? Spotting this sign at a local Pizza Hut, and it reminds me of the good old days when things were much cheaper.
If you get a glass of soda this size now, it could easily cost you around $2 to $3 dollars at a three-star restaurant. Wonder how much it would cost us for glass of soda five years from now!

No I do not remember that price either, but I remember a coke being 10 cents!!!!!! That was in the 1960's
I love vintage. The Vintage Art has so much character.
I can relate to the 5 cent products. All drinks are much too high now. I do not think I will have to worry about prices five years from now.
At 71, I can remember those days....maybe not 5 cents, but REALLY cheap. I know I could buy root beer floats for a quarter. Happy Rednesday.
Too bad thngs don't stay the same. I do remember when Hershey Bars were a nickel. Wow-I'm pretty old. Happy Reds!

I sure feel like I'm old enough to remember when soda's were a nickle teehee, but I'm not. I wonder how far back we have to go???

Man! It's not fair, I would love a tall glass of cold Pepsi for 5cents! We have to pay 1.75 for a large cup which is the same size.
I remember when a bottle was under $50 cents does that count? Thanks for sharing.
I don't remember when soda was 5 cents. That was really cheap. I can only imagine how much it will be in five years. It will probably be five dollars or more by then.

I remember 25 to 50 cents. What is happening to the dollar?
I remember 25 cents. A soda is already expensive at restaurants but in five years I wonder if we will be able to afford one.
I love those colorful signs Icy.
