Thursday Two Questions #3-Perfect Ball Head

Here are some more pictures of the clematis, but it was shaped into a ball! All natural and made by the wonder of God..We all admire the beautiful of clematis flower, but I have to stop and really admire this stage of it too.

Here are my two questions for Thursday:
  1. What would you do to shake off the blue when it rains all day?
  2. What are your favorite things to do when it rains?

Musing With a Purpose-Different Opinions

My son and I have been looking for bed sets to finish up his room since the beginning of this summer, but we have not reached a mutual agreement yet. Two people, two totally different opinions, obviously!

My son, being a pre-teen, goes for the look, and I'm on the hand, wants functionality, realistic, and affordable. We go back and forth on a certain style and design, but it always ends up in a heated debate. Well, the final saying has to be mine, but I don't want to monopolize the arena either. I want JoJo to have a choice too. So on we go searching until we both agree with the bed sets.

Part of life is learning to make a good decision, and that is what I hope for my son to be able to do. We have ruled out full size bed since he doesn't sleep well with others. He always ended up on the floor with a sleeping bag when he had a friend over night. We narrow down to these bunk beds below.

I like the look of these bed sets! It is not too "kiddy" looking and will serve JoJo well for the next seven years while he is growing. Obviously, if money was not an issue, I would love to get the one with the deeper wood stain.

Here are my questions for you:
  • Do you give your child a choice to make a decision?
  • How do you solve different opinions?
  • Do you take your child's opinion into consideration even though the final decision is yours?

Mystery Solved!

I posted this wiggly giggly lines for Thursday Two Questions, see the post below, but no one has guessed it yet. So ladies and gentlemen, it was from the clementis flower. Believe it or not, but do believe it please!

After I took shots of those wonderful wiggly lines, I found this gorgeous clementis bloom, nestling among the leaves. It was late in September, but the clementis was still around, which is a blessing for us Michigan dwellers.

I'm leaving you now to nurture my miserable cold! My eyes are burning, my nose is running, and my head is buzzing. If I am late in visiting you, rest assure that I will come a bit later in the week. My little boy also has two traveling soccer games this weekend. Will see how my cold handles this!!!

Enjoy other entries at Mosaic Monday!

Let's have a great new week...

Thursday Two Questions Meme #2-Do You Know?

I like to discover new things, and this was it! When I first see the above and took pictures, I was wondering the whole time, "what is it?" But since time is tight, I just have to go on and snap!

By the time I was done with my pictures taking, I found out what it was and it took me for a surprise. I couldn't believe this stage of the flower. Yes, you read it right; it used to be a flower, and that would be your hint.

Now here are my two questions, and also a guessing game for you!

  • Do you know what it was?
  • Have you ever seen this before?
I will reveal its beauty in the up coming post, for now, I'm linking up to Thursday Two Questions on Blessing Reflections.

Musing With a Purpose-Staying On Tasks

Well, I'm off my tangent again last week, which means that I haven't followed up with my regular posts! One is being my Twilight Love Affair, and the other is Musing With a Purpose! Being a freelance writer, I have to finish jobs as they come or else I'll not "bringing home the bacon", therefore, I must push other scheduled posts down and out.

Does it sound like I'm whining? Yike, not good! I can assure you that I'm not complaining, but very grateful to get writing jobs! They don't come often enough for me to whine! Priority is the utmost important!

On writing, I've managed to write five articles on Triond, and two on Bukisa after months of my disappearance. Somehow, I just lost interest in writing articles though ideas are always dancing in my head. I have a "Work in Progress" folder with about 50 articles that are half way done. Believe me, I'm not alone in this department.

I'm not on tasks, ever, but I'm fine with my decision! Here is my confession: while writing this post, I also sidetracked. As I check into my Triond account, I found new comments on my two years old article on teacher's ADD diagnosis with my son. You guys have to read this, really, recommended big time...

Pretty Purple Daisy

While having my car fixed, I saw these beautiful purple, with white stripes in the flower box outside. Of course, I had to inspect and snapped some pictures. They looked like daisy to me, but I don't know if they are Livingston Daisy, or Blue Eyed Daisy!

I posted some pictures of the Blue Eyed Daisy in full bloom on Reach Beyond Limits before, but I can't tell the differences between these two kinds.

However, since they are flowers, they are just beautiful to me. I love the two tones colors on these flowers! On top of that, I love the color purple more, so it made me happy to see these daisies, especially when I had to wait for my car to get done!

Get Four Movie Tickets For Only Twenty Dollars

Every once in a while, my son and I'd like to get away to the movie, and just immerse ourselves into another world. We can't do this as often as we like since one ticket could cost between $8 to $14 dollars depending on the time we go.

The good news is, at Get Your Free Movie Ticket, you can get four tickets for just about $20 dollars a month. You can treat your family to a day at the theater, or having a girl-night-out with your friends at an incredible price of just $5 dollars per ticket with this service.

If you subscribe before this website officially launched, you will receive a free ticket, and if you get your friend to do the same, both of you will earn even more free tickets!

To me, this is a great way to go to save money! Just for my son and I to go to a movie, it already costs us more than $20 dollars for one outing! I'm definitely will take advantage of this deal..

Thursday Two Questions Meme-#1-What is It?

This huge bush was found at Metro Park growing near the water, and it seemed very exotic to me. Every branch on this plant was full of tiny flowers, so I thought! I really didn't have a chance to exam it closely since my camera was taken away by the boys who wanted to take pictures of the water snake rather than this silly bush.

Joining Thursday Two Questions, here are mine:

  1. 1. Do you know what this plant is called?
  2. 2. Have you seen one that's so wild looking like this in your area?
Now, I'm going to link this up to the linky tool at Blessing Reflections, Thursday Two Questions.

You are invited to post two questions of whatever strikes your fancy, link up, and visit others to what they have. Nothing by fun, fun, fun!

Hot Pink Flowers

Everyone knows the name of this flower, except me! I thought I know, but I really couldn't think of it right now. We woke up early at 6:00 this morning to go to a soccer tournament with my friend/neighbor. So my brain is fried! Yeah, another excuse...

This hot pink color is extraordinary to see, and with water drops it is even fresher looking. I went home between games to visit the local nursery and to take pictures. It is a great way for me to unwind.

Our weather is getting colder, and after spending the time on the open field; it is so good to be inside. We all had our winter gear on this morning, which is crazy since it is only the beginning of September.

Please do let me know the name of these flowers! I know it is a common and popular flower but I am never good with names. Honestly! I only have three kids, and call all three names before I get it right!
