Nothing But Black Squirrels
Do you want to see what my sky is like at this time of the year? Gray and gloomy! This had been going on for days now. My sky has no colors, and I'm starting to feel droopy. However, this morning I saw black squirrels decorated this tree branch. All the black dots you see are black squirrels!
As a matter of fact, this tree houses at least 10 of them at the same time today. All in their own spot either napping or taking a rest! Black squirrels are very aggressive around here, and they think they own the world!
There are at least two black squirrels in between those big branches too. I long for the sun to come up since it has been a week of gray sky already. What is your sky like in your part of the world?

I've actually never seen a black squirrel in person. Ten of them in one tree? Wow. All those little critters are very aggressive this time of year because they are hoarding food. When I am at the gardens now, they chase me whether I have food or not :) The weather has been a bit gloomy here too. The wind was so bad last night, all night that it knocked over all of our garbage cans, luckily though, the power stayed on, I was surprised.
They are pretty cool to watch.

Your photos really emphasize the black squirrels with the black and white of the picture. Reminds me of Alfred Hitchcocks The Birds movie. Happy New Year.
I've never seen a black squirrel...we have only grey ones and brown ground squirrels here...it is grey and gloomy here too...and raining again...we are very soggy! Happy New Year!
Our skies were looking like that for awhile and we now finally have some sunshine!! :)

Wow! 10 is a lot of squirrels! I have never seen a black one. Are they bigger than the grey ones?
Your sky looks something like mine. Earlier it was sunny and a little blue, but now it is gray and gloomy.
Tree branches can be intriguing. It's very gray and gloomy looking as you say.
It's been so gray and gloomy around here that even the squirrels seem depressed. Your squirrel tree is very cool Icy. We don't have the black ones here just Fox squirrels, I would love to see a black one sometime.
