Purple Orchid Bud
These were the purple orchids at Belle Isle Conservatory, and the color was much deeper than what showed up in my camera. I'm not a professional photographer who knows how to set aperture, light, and ISO speed. I just point and shoot, literally, and cross my fingers for the best.
I try to fix it in photoshop to bring the dark shade back, and again I don't know much about photoshop either, though I always intent to learn something new each day. There is so much to do, and there is so much to learn, but time keeps flying by.
My son has a soccer game at 8:30 tomorrow morning, so I must go doing laundry and get things ready.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Enjoy other entries at Mosaic Monday!

The photos are fine, BC. I like the shade, purple is always nice. Have a great weekend too :)
No rest for the weary, but the wonderful flowers will bring a smile to a weary face. :-)
Icy, it came out perfect with gorgeous details and color. You know I love those buds especially when they are photographed as you have. Have a wonderful weekend.
Another beautiful orchid.
You should try Picasa instead of photoshop. it fixes your photo in one click. It is perfect for those like me, who don't aspire for professional quality.
Very artistic, your mosaic.
Gorgeous
The purple orchid is so graceful and even the bud is elegant looking. I wish I could grow them. :)
Icy your photo looks great as always. That is a beautiful bud, I like the way the sun plays on the petals.
Gorgeous mosaic you've created!
Looks great to me. Beautiful mosaic. I love the colors.
Gorgeous... Happy Monday from Savannah, Cherry
Interesting perspective!
Beautiful photos!
Your photos are really beautiful. I love the shade of purple. I have never seen any flowers that were this shade of purple here in New Jersey.
