Home Grown Roma Tomatoes

Two weeks ago, my friend/neighbor gave me a bag full of these delicious and home grown Roma tomatoes.  This type of tomatoes was on the higher end of cost in the market, so I was happy to get them.

I washed them and kept them on a plate to eat raw, knowing that these had no pesticide or spray on them.  They were so sweet and the flesh was very firm.  Having home grown vegetables was the best thing in summer time.

I used to grow steak tomatoes, but next year, I will try to grow these yummy Roma tomatoes instead.  This is also my mom's favorite tomatoes.

  8. These are my favourites. I use a lot of tomatoes in cooking. These are about the only ones I'd eat raw.
