Thursday Two Questions #6-Guessing Game

If you are my regular readers, you know that I love discovering new things!  These stringy things was one of those that I happened by chance finding one day while waiting for my son at the soccer field.  You'll never know what you'll see, unless you wander around!

To answer my own question from last week, the photos you see here and in the last post, are wild asters at my son's soccer field.  I don't know what color they were, because there were white, and purple asters along this edge of the wood.

They look similar to the clementis, but if you look closer you will see the red seeds in the middle!  Aren't they wild looking? (You don't have to answer this one, just nod your head :-)

Here are my questions for this week:

1)  Now as an adult, do you have a particular time going to bed/waking up?

2)  Do you really feel energize after exercise as they said or much too tired to move?

  1. My As:

    1) Nope. I sleep when I feel like it. But lately I sleep early 8PM and wake up at midnight to work. Then I go back to sleep at dawn. If I have an appointment out I sleep 10 PM and wake up 6AM.

    2) Both. I feel energize yet too tired to move. Haha! ;-)

  3. Going to bed and waking up? Like clockwork. But I won't tell the exact hours. Hint. Late to bed, early to rise. Exercise? After a three-mile walk, I feel energized, both physically and mentally. After working in the yard, I'm beat physically, but energized mentally.

  5. 1. I do have a particular time to go to bed. I think that if I didn't, my body won't know or feel when it's time to rest. This would work as a disadvantage and lead to sleepless nights and problems going to sleep. I also have a particular time waking up because I have to drop my little one off to school, make sandwiches etc. Many times I have to wake up (even) earlier to go to work.
    2. Yes, I do feel energised after exercising. It releases endorphins that give you a pleasant, revived feeling. Afterwards, it tires you out so you get a good night's sleep.

  6. i don't have a particular time going to bed. i sleep when i feel sleepy and most often than not it's way past midnight. i try to wake up at a certain time in the morning but i'm not good at it.:p i'm slow in the morning, i'm more of a nocturnal creature.

no...i'm just too tired to move after exercise!

  7. 1) would like to go to bed at 11pm. It doesn't workout like that because at night is the only time I have to myself, so I tend to stay up later.
    2) exercise makes me feel more energized and less stress. I would like to go on a routine again.

  8. Icy, wild asters, I never would have guessed that, very cool.

    1. I really don't have a particular time I go to bed or wake up, it just depends on how I feel.

    2. Exercise for me is walking. I walk everyday. I do feel energized after every walk but, at my age, the knees are always a little sore.

  10. I am a total night owl, always have been. I try to get to bed by midnight but often find myself blogging (look at the time stamp).

I always feel energized after excerise. It might be a long walk/hike or mowing the lawn but I always feel great afterward.

  11. My intentions are good. I know I function poorly on less sleep, but often end up going to bed around 2 a.m. and must get up at 6:30 to get ready for work.

Because I have no time for anything I am failing to exercise regularly. It really does rejuvenate. I remember when I used to and felt fantastic.

Love your asters. They are so unique.

  12. Those asters are very cool!
bedtime....sigh... I am a night owl. I "should" go to bed by midnight, but most nights it is much later.
    definitely energized after exercise!

  13. I go to bed later than I should. I seem to be more alert with less sleep even though I know I need more sleep. It just seems that the more sleep I get, the more tired I am.

I usually feel too tired to move after I exercise depending on what I chose to do that day. LOL!
