Purple Flowers By The Water

My wandering feet took me to the water at Metro Park on a windy day, but with warm sun light.  These beautiful purple flowers caught my attention as there were so many of them.  They grew tall, strong, and just glorious by the water.

I would have loved to be closer, but these purple flowers grew among the boulders that guard the shore line.  Knowing that I couldn't make my way down, I zoomed in all the way with my camera.

Seeing nature at its best makes it a joyous day for me!  You can tell how strong the wind was by looking at ripple on the surface of that water.
