Fun Soccer
Every Sunday at about 6:00, the boys gather at the soccer field and just have fun playing soccer! No scores keep! No referee! It is just like a basketball pick-up game, and whoever shows up, just joins right in and plays. Sometimes, the field is mixed with different age groups of men, women, and young kids.

ReplyDeleteNow that's the way I wish all kids could experience soccer and all sports, for that matter. Just for fun. Without people pushing them to play harder, better, faster, etc., etc. They can actually just play. What a concept! Play. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA great way to share time with friends and family. It is so much better when there is no pressure of a coach hollering at you. The team looks nice in their red.

This brings back memories as my son used to do the same when he was a teenager. He played AYSO league soccer but often would get together with friends afterwards to have pick up games.
