Musing With a Purpose-Staying On Tasks
Well, I'm off my tangent again last week, which means that I haven't followed up with my regular posts! One is being my Twilight Love Affair, and the other is Musing With a Purpose! Being a freelance writer, I have to finish jobs as they come or else I'll not "bringing home the bacon", therefore, I must push other scheduled posts down and out.
Does it sound like I'm whining? Yike, not good! I can assure you that I'm not complaining, but very grateful to get writing jobs! They don't come often enough for me to whine! Priority is the utmost important!

On writing, I've managed to write five articles on Triond, and two on Bukisa after months of my disappearance. Somehow, I just lost interest in writing articles though ideas are always dancing in my head. I have a "Work in Progress" folder with about 50 articles that are half way done. Believe me, I'm not alone in this department.
I'm not on tasks, ever, but I'm fine with my decision! Here is my confession: while writing this post, I also sidetracked. As I check into my Triond account, I found new comments on my two years old article on teacher's ADD diagnosis with my son. You guys have to read this, really, recommended big time...

I have to go check that out. Sounds like I could learn something there dear BC.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a chance to get your tasks done. I can totally relate to that. I fall behind with my tasks too and then I have to continue to play catch up.
ReplyDeletegood for you... i have not written like i used too due to my busy schedule. i miss it.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are not alone. I have several ideas in the works, even half written articles, and lets not even discuss the photo archive. lol. I am in love with the topic when I start but sometimes something more interesting comes along or I get a request to research something. I need to stay focused. It makes me think of your article, but no teach ever told my parents I had ADD or ADHD. Maybe they should have. lol
ReplyDeleteSometimes it seems like there are not enough hours in the day to do everything that needs to be done. As you said we have to prioritize and do the best we can.
