Beautiful Lantana
Lantana is one of my childhood flowers, and they come in so many different colors. Of course, they are all beautiful and vibrant. When I was little, many moons ago, my friends and I used to pick each tiny petal off and sucked the nectar of this flower.
We pretended as busy bumble bees, and some times, we were just bored! Every time, I see lantana flowers, my childhood memories surfaces, and I have to take pictures. The ones in this collage are deep pink with a touch of yellow.

I have always loved lantana myself. It's a beautiful flower and seems to grow pretty easily. My mother always had it planted in our yard. Seeing it brings back memories of her when she was in good health.

ReplyDeleteLantana is one of my favorites, I love to put them in hanging baskets. This year however I could not find them anywhere. I will just enjoy your beautiful photos Icy.
