Intense Pink Dahlia
I love to go on photo hunt, and these beautiful pink dahlias were found at the park where JoJo is conditioning for soccer. Yes, soccer is in full swing, four hours of intense practice a week, two hours of scrimmage, and two hours of conditioning.
During these eight hours of soccer, 4 days a week, I found myself wandering around the park, and looked for photo opts! Who said sport is fun? It is a lot of work to keep in shape even for these 11 and 12 years old boys.
While waiting for JoJo, I either read, mark my pocket calendar for important dates, knit, or walk around to look for interesting things to shoot. These hot pink dahlias were just stunning in the sun. I posted the peachy color dahlias on Blessing Reflections, if you want to see.
Each year the park planted different flowers, and this year dahlias took center stage! I love this hot and intense pink color of these flowers. Usually, my son preferred that I stayed put and talked to other parents, but he was doing laps so I was free to roam.
On numerous occasions, I embarrassed him with my ever weird way of lying on the grass for a close up shot of clover flowers!

Have a great weekend, everyone!
Enjoy other entries at Mosaic Monday!
