Orange "Blue-Eyed" Daisy

This is the orange color blue-eyed daisy, and you can see or read more about it on my other blog, Reach Beyond Limits for Blue Monday. I like this flower more and more each year, so I stalked my local nurseries in search for different colors.
I took a series of shots, but the full sun light washed out the beautiful orange color a you can see in the collage above. Therefore, I went back to the nursery in the evening to do my snapping, and the color came out just right!
I love the streaks of blue color on each petals of this flower. It's so unique and beautiful! For more information on how to grow and care for the blue-eyed daisy, click on this link.
Have a great week ahead!
Enjoy other entries at Mosaic Monday!

ReplyDeleteThat's a cute daisy, Icy. The blue streaks seems like to look purplish to me or am I just color blind but be it blue or purple the color combination is perfect!

These are nice flowers. I have never seen daisies like these.
ReplyDeleteEven the sun drenched daisies are beautiful, but the full color is more so. These remind me of the African daisies I had last year. They were so pretty but this year I can't find any.
