Friday
I'm counting down the days for the return of my little boy! He has been gone to spend the week with his dad, and I miss him so. The atmosphere in the house is not the same when I'm home alone. However, it is also a much needed rest after the last busy few weeks for my tired body.
Thursday
The long awaited phones finally arrived. I ordered these phones on eBay for myself and my daughter as the temporary replacements, since I don't want to extend my contract for another two years. No, I didn't pay an arm and a leg for them either!!! It's a clone!
My pet wee is that I change my numbers every two years, and my children have a hard time understanding this decision. Hey, being normal is boring, so just be weird and different to spice up life!
Peony At the End of Life
Every living thing on this earth does come to an end. Peonies once bloomed so beautifully in my yard, but now they were all gone. The picture above showed what was left of it when I saw it early in the morning. Can you still see the beauty in this?
Friday Confessional #1
I love summer for the ease of living, and for the opportunity to open all windows to let in fresh air. However, I also dislike the constant noises that summer brings too, such as the noise from lawnmowers, the crying of children, the cursing from couples in the wee hours, the loud music in the cars of teenagers, the barking of dogs, the flies, and the mosquitoes.
Friday Confessional #2
I have neglected to take my supplements since they gagged me. It is such a chore trying to stay healthy. So my daughter went to the market and purchased a 6-pack of Ensure for me. Really now, it's time to confess, how many of you out there are drinking Ensure? I thought this is for older people. Shoot, I'm an older person!

hahaha, Icy, you are so funny, you cracked me up about Ensure. I remember before we bought a box of Ensure for my mom and dad in law for their strength as prescribed by doctor, however, they disliked it entirely, and they asked us to return it to Costco, I said I can try, and when I tried, I like it actually, so yes, once a while I drink Ensure since I like it, I am old too :) hahaha!

ReplyDeleteI'm like you with the flowers, even when the bloom is gone there is still beauty. I love summer no matter what. We live at the end of a cul de sac so the noise is less.
I have never tried Ensure but if I needed the additional supplements I would. Take care of yourself Icy.
Icy, my son and I used to drink that once in awhile when we were running around all day or slim fast. We both like it and he hated taking vitamins.

I don't know what Ensure it, but I can say it's hard trying to stay healthy. You do forget to keep doing the right things when life and the kids get in the way.

Ensure is a milky drink that contains supplements. It's like formula for babies. The berries ones gave me a violent stomachache! :-(
