Soft Pink Orchids
These orchids were found in the Conservatory at Belle Isle, and I couldn't resist taking photos of them. There are so many different varieties that it's hard to remember all. If I could locate a name tag for them, I would take a picture so I would be able to learn more, but I didn't find one for these beautiful pink orchids.
My brother loves orchids, and he could nurture them to grow beautifully. I am on other hand, couldn't keep most of the plants in my house alive, no matter how resilient they are.
This beautiful orchid looks very hardy, and the petals are thicker comparing to other orchids that I've seen. This particular orchid come in different colors as well such as soft green, soft yellow, and soft orange.
Well, by now you can tell that I went crazy taking their pictures! I want them to be super stars on my blog with all their natural beautiful feature.

I love orchids in any kind... colors, sizes, shapes, and species. They are the most exotic of all flowers. Well, in my own opinion and they last longer. Thanks for sharing... going overboard on the photos is well appreciated.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I have no luck growing them either - it takes a real knack, I think! I usually have a pretty green thumb, but it definitely doesn't extend to orchids! Enjoyed your lovely pictures.
