Small Round Orchids

I love flowers! I think there are as many flowers as there are humans. I'm learning and seeing new flowers all the time. There are many flowers that I've never seen before, but now seeing through other blogs and in real life.

Just like these orchid flowers, I have not yet seen before at the Belle Isle Conservatory a year ago, but this time, they were there for me to go "googoo, gaga" over them. They were in smaller sizes and had a rounder shape to them.

Yes, I am terrible, horrible as identifying names of everything, from flowers to birds, to plants! If you know, share it with me please. I've looked for the tag, but didn't find one from the pots that they come in.

Enjoy other entries at Today Flowers, and Mosaic Monday!

You found some cute little orchids! They kind of look like little chicks hatching out of eggs.

I will never get enough of orchids. It will always remind me of home. My mom used to have those in our garden. When she passed away, they died too. It was my fault. I didn't take care of them.

Fantastic! You are not alone in not being able to identify flowers. One reason I love being part of Today's Flowers, I am learning every day. Thank you for sharing with us and have a great week.

They are so cute, Icy and almost look like a mixture of orchid and tulip. I don't know the name but if I ever come across it I will let you know. Love the photos.

I love flowers too but orchid names are some of the hardest to remember aren't they?! These are lovely. :)

Hi Icy,

They are lovely! I've tried growing them, but haven't had much luck, so I enjoy other people's even more!

Such sweet little flowers! I love their delicate colors, almost as if they'd been brushed with watercolors. I'm botanically challenged so I rarely know the names of plants I photograph. It's fun trying to find out though.

They are beautiful but like you I am hopeless in identifying.

Doesn't matter that you do not know the names. It is important and I think you did that by just appreciating the beauty of them. Valerie
