Purple Tulips

These were my purple tulips from last year. I found these pictures in my archives by accident, and I just love their color. These purple tulips didn't come back this year, since the squirrels dug up the bulb and ate them.

At first I didn't understand why my garden was full of holes, and bulbs were showing on top of the soil. Then I finally saw with my own eyes how the squirrels had rearranged my garden to their liking.

They ate my purple and yellow tulip bulbs so now there were none left this year! Though the squirrels were destructive, they also did some magic to the rest of the bulbs. Red tulips became redder, and white tulips looked very creamy!
