Orchid With a Pouch

Here is another type of orchid, which carries a pouch in the front of it. The first time I saw this orchid, I was overwhelmed by its beauty. Now, you know why I love visiting the Belle Isle Conservatory?
I always seem to find something new in this Conservatory to enjoy and learn. I love the colors combination in this orchid. Everything seems to have its own purpose or responsibility. The speckles on the top petal add more charm to its unique look.
I love all flowers, that's all I can say, maybe some more than others, but flowers are just beautiful, fanciful, elegant, colorful, and magical. I don't think I can ever have enough of flowers.
Enjoy other entries at Today Flowers, and Mosaic Monday!

So beautiful and unusual! The pouch reminds me of a carnivorous pitcher plant that traps insects.
