Yellow Daffodil
I was so happy to finally see my yellow daffodils coming in full bloom. A few days ago, I found three eaten buds scattering around this area of my flowers and was devastated. I thought the wild rabbits would come back and destroyed them all, but they didn't.
These pictures were taken during the afternoon sun, so the yellow color was even brighter. They were so very cheerful to see after long winter months. My neighbor's daffodils bloomed for a full two weeks before mine.
Now if the wild bunnies don't return during the night, I will have these yellow daffodils to enjoy for while. I am now waiting for my tulips to come into blooms. For some reasons, my flowers all seem to be late bloomers!

I don't think rabbits like daffodils - I am sure they are poisonous to them so you might have them for quite awhile.

ReplyDeleteHi and Happy Macro Mon,
ReplyDeleteThere's always something very special about those early spring daffodils. Yellow, like sunshine in spring and you caught that well. Enjoyed your photos!
It is okay they are late. As long as they bloom. Nice ones.
