Purple Hyacinth

Oh yes, my purple hyacinth flowers are in full bloom and they smell so good right now. The color is really purple, but at a certain part of the day, they look blue-ish, or maybe my camera just can't handle this color.


I put together the mosaic just to show them off, and the different shades of these hyacinth flowers. It has also been raining off and on these last two days, and the water drops make them even more beautiful.


Today I also see the first huge bumble bee for the season. It landed on this hyacinth, but didn't stay long enough for me to take a picture. I'm pretty sure the bumble bee is overwhelmed with so many new fresh flowers right now to settle down on one.
