Hairstyle Dilemma
It is spring, and like nature, I want a new fresh look but I could not find the right short hairstyles that matching the shape of my face. I go through this dilemma at least twice a year. I'm like most people, never satisfied with the way I look, but I am not obsessed though. It is just a phrase that I go through.
Sometimes, while waiting in line at the supermarket, I like to look at In Style magazine to see how celebrities are wearing their hair, or what types of hair styles are trendy at the moment. Once, I took the look of a short hair type to the salon and told the hairstylist my wish, the time that I would be willing to work on it, and my daily activities; she had me looking like a curly cone head! It was a dreadful experience which ended up empty my pocket.
After that horrifying incident, I resorted to cutting my own hair, or wait until I see my sister, Amanda who is a professional hairstylist. She seems to understand what I want, and what I need to achieve the look that I desire. However, I only get to see my sister every five years or so.
In the meantime, I will keep on cutting my own hair after I find the style that I want. I'm too picky to trust another hairstylist. Do you have one that you're happy with?

I have had several disastrous encounters with hair stylists and generally cut or trim my own hair. It seems that some do not understand the word "trim". You are lucky Amanda knows how to cut hair and what you want.
ReplyDeleteYou, cutting your own hair? What an idea. I havent tried that before. I only cut my hair twice a year and always the same fashion. One time I had it cut like my mom's, my husband's face became sour lol. It's so good visiting your page BC xxx
ReplyDeleteHahaha,
ReplyDeleteMy wife always has dilemma with her hair. But I like her hair as it is actually.
I am so picky when it comes to finding a new stylist. It is so hard to find one that will listen and won't go crazy with the scissors. I am looking for a new one now.
