Easter's Egg Hunt

HAPPY EASTER!
There is a church near our home that organized the Easter's Eggs Hunt every year for the children in their church, and local kids. The huge yard was full of colorful plastic eggs, and filled with candies of all kinds.
For the past two years, JoJo enjoyed this festivity. He was able to enjoy one year with me, and one year with his dad. This event always turned out to be a big success, and a great way to meet other parents in the area.
The church provided donuts and apple cider at the end of the hunt in their social gathering in the basement. Here, many kids got to turn in their tickets for a chance to win prizes also. JoJo won a big basket full of goodies and a stuffed bunny.

Icy, Jo Jo, & Rocko, happy Easter to you. I see the sun is out, now to go to church and enjoy the day!

I used to love egg hunts like this. I just wish I could still partake. I might look a little funny at my age.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like JoJo is having a very successful hunt and a lot of fun. I love to see communities and churches holding events like this for kids.
ReplyDeleteHey went to a church nearby for the first time too! It was great to see miss T on the pony ride!
