Outside the Conservatory
If you haven't seen the outside of the Belle Isle Conservatory, you can see it here. Today I will show you the reflections of these domes in the little pond situated between the Aquarium and the garden. It was taken in November and all the fishes had been moved.

There was a door from this dome which we could walk out to the back part of this pond. There you could sit and relax for a while, or the children could watch the fishes swimming around.

I took these photos from the sidewalk, and this was the center of the pond. On a sunny day, the reflection could be very deceiving, especially when the fishes were put back in the water.

During the summer, there were water lilies of yellow, pink, and white growing beautifully in this pond. I love it here since being near the water is very relaxing.
