Finding My Way

Hiding behind those weeping willow trees, was the gorgeous building that once housed the casino. To get across, this bridge with white fencing served the way for pedestrians. I am pretty sure that there was a way to get there by car too, but I haven't found it yet.

I just love the view of the whole area, and the reflections in the water of the building, the bridge, and the trees.

The picture above gave me an eerie feel as though there were two parts of this water. A darker part seems to be separated by the reflection of the bridge, but it was not.

You can see a bit of the building's reflection in this photo above. Those pictures were taken last year, but just now that I realize the way to that building after uploading them. I tried to use up my time productively while out for photo opt, and forgot to live in the moment.

Enjoy other entries at Weekend Reflections!

Good Morning Sweetie...
Beautiful pictures today. I especially love the one that has the reflection in the water. Isn't it amazing what we see in the eye of the camera?

What a beautiful place to walk. Looks so peaceful there. The coloring is gorgeous.

Thank you for sharing today. Have a beautiful Friday.

Country hugs...Sherry

It's nice to see the blown up sections of the photo but they really aren't needed. The top photo speaks for itself. It's outstanding and I live it.

Beautiful reflections. The water is so still and, yes, a little eerie.

A great shot Icy, the blue of the sky reflecting on the water really sets off the gold in the trees. That water is so amazing still.

I know what you mean about forgetting to live in the moment. I try to slow myself down sometimes while taking photos, forget about the camera for a moment and just drink in the scenery.

I think I like the first picture the most. The willows framing the building are just so serene.

I agree---there is a certain eery mystery about that one picture of the bridge. What lovely choices for Weekend Reflections!

That first picture is just stunning. It belongs in a frame.

These are beautiful reflection shots. In the second one, the bridge appears to be a fence in the water, very interesting shot! Kathy
