Night Shade Mosaic, With a Touch of Yellow
These pictures were from last summer, and I found these flowers growing along my fence. They were wild but beautiful because the purple color has a grip on me. I don't know why, but when I see anything purple, my eyes are drawn to it.
I am terrible at identifying flowers, and my friend Anne, at The RelationshipSuperMarket.com has sent me a little pocket book all the way from the UK on Wild Flowers to help me along, but I am still way behind in gaining knowledge.

You might have seen these night shade flowers on my other blogs, but believe me, my fascination with these flowers ended up with around a hundred pictures already. Every year these flowers are bit different from the previous year.

You can see how the buds were forming on this one branch, and also how the flowers opened up to show their yellow seeds. It was amazing to see and watched them throughout the summer months.

When all the yellow middle seeds and petals fell off, they revealed these berries, and many readers had warned me that these are poisonous. From these green berries, they turned yellow, orange, and finally red.

Look at how gorgeous they were! My point and shoot camera did an amazing job at capturing these photos. These flowers looked like dancers.

Very pretty, Icy. I pulled mine up by the root because they were very close to the sidewalk in my front yard. I ready the berries could be harmful to children.
