Snowflakes
Last week we had an amazing amount of snow, enough in one morning for hundreds of schools to close. When the wind stopped long enough for us to go outside and shoveled our driveway, I saw some vivid snowflakes on my car's window.

Once again, Mother Nature supplies me with these beautiful snowflakes to marvel, and photographed. I wasn't sure how to accomplish this task in a way that the snowflakes would show up, so I just snapped away.

I took some pictures facing the car's window from the outside, but the images weren't show up what I was seeing at the moment. I wanted to have vivid snowflakes, not a pile of snow.

Then I decided to go inside the car, and took the pictures from there. Boy was I glad to see better images of these snowflakes. They were amazing, and each snowflake had its own design pattern.

This photo above is my favorite! My camera captured exactly what I've seen and wanted to show. These were just my lucky shots since I'm not trained as a photographer to think in term of light, exposure, or angle. I'm happy though with them!

Icy, you have a knack. They are gorgeous. I know, I just cross my fingers, point and shoot. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow. I didn't know that a snow has shapes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to go inside the car to shoot the snowflakes. They look so pretty with the golden light on them.
