Hail to the Kittens
Hovering over my seat at an Asian restaurant are these two colorful kittens. They stood there with a symbol of luck and welcoming sign. Even though I don't understand what the words are, I just translated to be good things.
I thought these photos are colorful enough for me to enter Color Carnival, which is something I wanted to do for a long time, but couldn't find anything appropriate enough until now.
I like these kittens, and the way they raised their hands. It is always interesting to see statues like these and wonder what they're thinking, representing, or doing.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured, Icy! Those are really colorful Kitties! :)
ReplyDeleteIcy, if they invite money, we're ready, right? I ate Chinese last night and loved the decor, but I didn't dare bring out the camera. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat cute kitties. Great choices for a colorful theme.
ReplyDeleteReally cute colorful kittens :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blogg.
I see these all over my neighborhood around shrines. I think that the hand raised is a gesture of giving but I cannot be sure. I love the colors that mingle together so well.
ReplyDeleteWe call these hens & chicks here. They are succulents suitable to rock gardens and can be grown indoors as well. If you do a search for that term you will find out a lot of information about them. You do have some very nice ones!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I have never seen anything like them. They are colorful too. Hopefully they do mean good luck and fortune. :)
