View of a Bridge

After all the troubles that I had this week, I am happy to say that it's over. My car is fixed, and my computer is fixed. Everything is back in order!

However, my computer was wiped clean, and lucky me I had transferred all my pictures to a flash drive, plus I uploaded these pictures last week onto my blog. Therefore, I didn't have to locate my photos for now.

These photos were taken at Belle Isle, an Island where I like to spend time when the weather is warmer. There are many ponds like this one, with different bridges and colors. You can see the red bridge here.

This part of Belle Isle is on the main road of the island, and we often stop to feed the ducks and the geese here. It is right across from the Detroit River. If you look closely, you can see that there was a man on the bridge, but you can actually see his reflection in the water better.

Here is a close-up of that corner by the bridge with only the reflection of the tree. During this cold weather, this is a nice scene to see, especially me! I'm a bit fidgeted now and need to get back to the island.

It's lovely to see these photos taken at a warmer place. It's making me feel war inside. :)

Belle isle, beautiful island in old French, also the name of several places inland in this country.

Lovely autumn colours and photos!

Strange, isn't it, that sometimes you see something in a reflection that you missed in the real world...like your man on the bridge.

Lovely series. My favorite is first image with the sweeping curves and wide vista.

Gorgeous photos Icy. I love how the water is reflecting the blue of the sky. Isn't it amazing how much our eyes miss but the camera picks up.

I'm glad you didn't lose your beautiful pics too.
