Caught in A View

The reflection in this office building was spectacular, and I couldn't stop myself from trying to capture them. The light was perfect on that day, and the view was vivid at every corner.

Now, if you were walking behind me, you would think that I was crazy, literally! I talked to myself, I walked around the building looking for angles, and I went back and forth like a dog chasing its tail...

I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Simple view, wasn't it? But to be able to see the view in a totally different feeling and thought was just amazing. As I snapped these pictures, a lady walked out of the building, and she gave me a suspicious look as if my camera was some kind of a threat.

I thought the lady would call security on me, because she checked me from top to bottom. You know, she gave me "one of those looks"! All I wanted to say to her was "Don't you see how beautiful this view is", but deep down inside I enjoyed my "weird behavior", and watching her confused expressions was just priceless!

  2. I know it can be difficult to study a scene without looking like some sort of criminal or something...that's quite a challenge! You got a good shot despite annoying people! Love it!

  3. Icy, those reflections are amazing. So clear, crisp and with vivid detail. I know how you feel, I go around taking photos of everything and many times people look at me as if I'm doing something wrong. It's really a shame the woman walking out of the building didn't notice the beauty surrounding her. Fantastic shots.

I'm glad the mortgage company had such clean windows. :)

  9. The second one is my favorite. All are good ones. I don't think people get it. Someone intend on mischief would be way sneaky. Shame folks are so paranoid for no good reason.

  10. Great shots Icy, the reflections are beautiful. I know what you mean, one of these days someone is going to call the cops on one of us. I was photographing a jewelry story window the other day and getting really weird looks.

  11. These are beautiful views! Great captures, even if the office worker didn't see them. But maybe she had reason to be nervous, working for a mortgage company. Probably not high on anyone's favorite people list right now! Kathy
