Mosaic Monday--Wild White Asters
I have missed doing Mosaic Monday for a while, and while taking care of my sick daughter, I put together these mosaics below.
These are wild white asters that grew in our yard during the summer months. I love them! Then again, I love all flowers. They are beautiful, elegant, and just wonderful to the senses when I see them.
Ok, I can't wait for summer to get here. It seems so long ago that I see flowers outdoor. Along the fence in my back yard, these wild white asters were plentiful. It looked like snow from a distant some time.
In my quest to take a great picture of these beauties, I snapped many shots. I ended up delete many of them, but in the process, I learned that there were many different types of white asters.
The differences can be seen in the petals. Some petals are rounder, shorter, and thicker than the ones you're seeing in these pictures above.

Oh My Gosh!!! Stunning photography and composition of the White Asters. I bet they do look like a snow bank when all are blooming. This is my first MM and I hope you'll have a chance to stop by to see my Knitting Mosaic. Sue
I love asters too. I have been adding more native varieties to my butterfly garden since they're so hardy and don't need any care.

Asters are a wonderful flower - they reseed so readily and have such a prolonged bloom.
