Calla Lily

You know, I can't walk by a flower without taking pictures. Try as I might, I still have to stop for at least two shots, despite the rushing and the constant "come on, mom" in the back of my head.

It is a challenge to convince the kids that the flowers are too beautiful to bypass, when all they want is to visit the toys area. Well, sometimes, I win and other times, I loss.

Meijer usually has pots and pots of calla lily, and in different colors. I love these leaf-looking flowers very much. They are beautiful and exotic. So fighting with the boys for a few minutes is worth it. I am happy with just these two pictures.

I am not an outdoor person when we are thick under the snow! I will dress the boys up and send them outside to play or build their snowman, but I will watch them from the door/windows.

So I took the boys to Meijer to window shop when it is intolerable outside. They will look at toys, and I will look at flowers. Today is a win for me; they gave me 15 minutes until they run out of patience..

  4. I love flowers! All of them! I have really vivid memories of the seed flower fields in CA and the rose fields here in AZ and the peony fields up in Oregon. Just magical. Thanks for sharing.
