Cactus in Sepia
As always, my friend Diane at Desert Colors can identify this cactus better than I do. Though I think it may be called barrel cactus, or something like that.
Through curiosity, my son is touching the needles on the cactus just to test it out, and I can tell you that he won't do that again. He learned by exploring and experiencing!

The colors of this cactus were too washed out, so I applied sepia effect, and I really like how it turned out. You can see many details on this cactus in sepia than in its original colors.

This is a beautiful scene of the cactus with all the little flowers around it. I applied the black and white effect, but didn't like it as much as in sepia!

I really like the texture of the cactus
Great in sepia tone here Icy, never saw cactus in sepia and this is so great.
Nicely done. Everything can be viewed differently. Just let your mind take you there.
argh, i can almost feel the pain when Jojo touch the thorn :( i love cactus, but no matter how I love them, I don't hug them :)
The fingers did get a little close. Very nice cactus, they are always pretty. The sepia does bring out all the details.
Great sepia photo. It's really hard to find ones with great quality and depth to them. I like it! :)
A prickly individual...
My shoveling days are over - some advantages to age.
Great pics, Icy.
