Purple Asters

I saw these purple/pink asters on nature trail on Belle Isle, where my son likes to go fishing, last month. They were two different colors of these asters as you can see in the pictures below.

Purple-Pink Asters

I noticed that the more sun the flowers received, the fuller the petals were. This pink color is just absolutely beautiful, but it was a very windy day for my camera to catch a good picture of them.

Lavender Asters

This cluster of flowers was way back on the trail, and the petals were much thinner than the purple/pink flowers. Most of these flowers were all dried out, but some were bursting out in full force.

Fun With Curly Aster

I am playing with this curly aster in sepia, but keeping the center of the flower in its original color.

Leaves Collection

I am grouping a collection of leaves together to show the different colors, shapes, size, and conditions of each leaf. After the mosaic comes together, it reminds me of family, and of course changes in our lives.

Black Pansies

These flowers are black pansies in color, with yellow and purple in the middle, and this is the first time I see flowers in black color.

Update: Here is a picture of the black pansy in its original color!

Window Art

These glass windows are at a Catholic School with the beautiful and simple art pieces decorating on them. I took the pictures below for the reflections I see in these window panes.

Dried Up Zinnias

As soon as the weather got cold, I turned my focus on naturally dried flowers around my home. A year or so ago, I wouldn't have noticing them that much, but through the eye of my camera, I see things totally different.

Everything is beautiful and holds its own uniqueness, such as these zinnias below.

Red Zinnia

This was one of my red zinnias that I grew from seeds from last summer. As it dried out, the colors changed and created these amazing mixes of colors. I knew it must be very beautiful if I use my macro, and I was right.

Orange Zinnia

The orange zinnia had its own unique colors as it dried out. Under a certain lighting, this dried flower looked absolutely amazing as its own bloom once before. This head was full of petals and it remained like this until completely dried out.

Deep Pink Zinnia

This zinnia was stunning in the morning sun, and its shape captivated me for a while. As it dried some petals folded upward, and some drooped down toward the ground. The deep pink colors disappeared and yielded for this almost purple shade.

No fresh flowers to take pictures? Try taking some photos of dried ones, and you'll soon be hooked to these subtle beauties.

Shopping Site For Young Ladies

Christmas is almost here and people are starting to go shopping on Black Friday, which promises a deeper sale price than usual. If you don't mind the crowd, waiting in line, and circle the parking lot a few times for a parking spot, then Black Friday is for you.

I'm on other hand; prefer to shop online, in the comfort of my home, without any hassles. I have a two ladies on my list to buy for this year, and shopdcd.com is where I will do my shopping for them.

They have many different designers such as David Lerner, JJ Winters, Lauren Moshi, and many others, but their top brand is Gypsy 05, and they also have an On Sale section on their website. I found some bracelets that I know my daughter and my niece will love.

This website is tailored to a younger generation, probably in the same ages of Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa Hudgens. They also offer free shopping for purchase of 99 and over, worldwide.

If you have young adult ladies in the house, this website is a good place to shop for them, especially if they know that Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens, and Nicole Richie also shop here.

Peachy Geranium

Just to show you my geranium, I have uploaded three pictures of these peachy color flowers. They did great in the summer outside, and though when I bring them inside, there are not that many flowers, but some.

I have them in red, peach, and pink growing together in one rectangle planter. I like them and they smell very good when I remove dead flowers or branches.

One Great Ball of Geranium

These beautiful flowers were constantly blooming during the summer when there was plenty of sun light. I keep these geraniums by the laundry room's window where they will get as much sun as they could.

On One Side

I love how these flowers grew. They seemed to bloom in layers as you can see the buds underneath the flowers waiting for their turns to show off.

Side By Side

These geranium flowers grew very tight together. I love these color, soft and well..peachy. During the winter, these blossoms really cheer up me to see how they thrive to stay beautiful.

Floating Along

On a different note, I want to thank Lauren at Ancient Digger for passing on these awards below to Wandering Thought.

The rules is to give credit to the person who granted these awards, and pass them on to 15 other bloggers. However, I have passed these wonderful recognitions on already, at least twice, and time is very limited for me right now.

I just want to thank Lauren, for thinking of me...You are a really great friend and supporter.

Vegetable Flowers

The flowers below were from my vegetables garden. Can you guess what they are? It was fun watching and waiting for these vegetables to grow. We had plenty of delicious meals with these vegetables.

Green Beans

Young Stage of Green Beans

These two pictures above were the blossoms of our green beans. The first photo showed the maturity of the flowers, and the second photo showed the very early stage of the growing green beans.

This flower was from my Hungarian pepper, and I was surprised to see such a beautiful blossom from such a spicy pepper.
